Vatstats Logo

As a part of the Vatstats project I had to build a logo. We wanted something clean and professional, but themed towards the planes that we would be tracking and that provided the URL for the website within the logo itself.

The resulting colour palette and choice of clearly legible text helped greatly in the overall branding of the website’s online presence by providing a robust guideline for the front-end design of the website and tools.

Some additional work was done on the Vatstats website as well. See the following portfolio entry.

GearTech Custom Paint Logo

GearTech Custom Paint Logo

GearTech Custom Paint needed a simple logo to go with their new website that would primarily be used for web work but would tie into the main colour palette of the brand.

The final revision was to utilise a more ‘grungy’, rugged look like an old paint shop might have but still retains bold lettering and a striking orange that allows it to show clearly when on many of the watermarked work images or in print.

Some additional work was done on the GearTech Custom Paint website as well. See the following portfolio entry.

Bodgeups Logo

Bodgeups Logo

This is a logo that I designed for Wayne Boltwood (Bodgeups). The intended purpose was to keep the theme playful but also convey the main purpose of his YouTube channel: Airsoft sniping videos.

Primarily the logo had to be flexible enough to be printed on merchandise but also easily recognisable online.

Some additional work was done on the Bodgeups website as well. See the following portfolio entry.

Deviant Concepts Mark

Deviant Concepts Mark

Deviant Concepts needed a single, monogram-like logo for use primarily in physical media and – importantly – to emboss or etch onto their products. The geometric forms established for their web design project was to be retained whilst also being in line with the overall aggressive nature that had to be conveyed by the items it was being printed on.

The final work was a composite image followed by a basic trace from a few different sources and revisions were made to minimise detail in a later version made specifically for laser etching (the version shown here is the high-detail variant).

Inspire Performance Logo

Inspire Performance Logo

This particular logo was made for both print and web use in tandem with Inspire Performance’s website. The requirements were that it would incorporate the colours from the company, the ‘three Cs’ and also have an indication of being related to music or performing arts.

The variant we settled on includes three musical symbols: A bass clef, semibreve and common time.

Some additional work was done on the Bodgeups website as well. See the following portfolio entry.

The Deviant Concepts logo was to be a fairly straight-forward logo as it had to be flexible enough to print and display online with no issues.
